Do you set goals for yourself on a regular basis?
As many of you know, I enjoy setting goals for myself quite regularly and I actually share them with my readers as well! It’s pretty risky because occasionally, I have proven myself a failure, but at other times, the goals were met and I felt like I was on top of the world! Either way, the site improves and my readers have a great time coming along for the ride.
So, let’s check out what goals I set for myself by the end of this year, 2011.
Goals For The Rest of This Year, Through December 2011
I have set three major goals for myself and have them listed below. Take a look at my progress.
1) Continue to Write 3-4 Posts Per Week – Yep, I nailed it again. I actually had 5 posts this past week because of my Saturday Income Report!
2) Develop a “Resources” Page – Done. It’s called, Start Your Own Blog.
3) Write the eBook – Last week I was about half way through chapter 3 and this week I’m happy to say that Chapter 3 is finished! I’m now about a quarter of the way through chapter 4 and have 1 more chapter to go after that. I’m really getting close!
New Projects
My new projects are still under way, but are actually coming together quite quickly! I can probably let you know about one of them by next week (I think I may have said this last time, but I can for sure let you in on them by January 1, I know that for a fact)! Stay tuned! 🙂

AUTHOR Derek
My name is Derek, and I have my Bachelors Degree in Finance from Grand Valley State University. After graduation, I was not able to find a job that fully utilized my degree, but I still had a passion for Finance! So, I decided to focus my passion in the stock market. I studied Cash Flows, Balance Sheets, and Income Statements, put some money into the market and saw a good return on my investment. As satisfying as this was, I still felt that something was missing. I have a passion for Finance, but I also have a passion for people. If you have a willingness to learn, I will continue to teach.

Thanks Derek, I appreciate the mention. Looking forward to your next ebook, you’re becoming a prolific content creator!
I look forward to getting that eBook finished as well! Not because I’m sick of it, but because I think it will be a huge help to millions of people out there!
Thanks for the link. Great progress and keep it up!
Thanks Krantcents! I’m going to keep moving forward with my progress, and can’t wait to finish a few of the projects that I’ve been working on.
Thanks for including me. You have a lot of green up there. Keep up the strong work.
It’s true! I just have to keep waking up at 5am to keep this progress rolling! 🙂
Good round up Derek. Your 2012 target is stiff but, I know you can achieve that.
I’ll get there. With a new eBook, 2 new blogs, and 2 new online business ventures, I’m pretty sure I’ll get there. I do still have to crunch the numbers though… 😉
Thanks for the link. You’re doing great!
Thanks so much for the compliments! I still have a lot of fun with my site (sometimes I get a little TOO involved in my computer and need to go outside once in a while), so making $1,500 by having fun is pretty great. I’ll have to remember that. 🙂
Thanks for the inclusion, and good luck on the 2012 goals. 🙂
No problem Kevin! Good luck with your site in 2012 as well! I know we’re just going to crush it! 🙂
Thanks Derek –
You’re welcome!
Again you are doing awesome. You are an inspiration to me Derek. Thanks for including my post too. Maybe you can do some of these things in your new house.
I’m glad that I can inspire you Miss T! Thanks for all of the awesome comments!
Those are some pretty good goals. Now I’m very curious about the upcoming project.
Haha. I’m glad you’re curious about the project, because it’s going to be amazing! And, it will draw an interest from bloggers all around the world! ….Coming Soon….. lol. 🙂
