Have you ever thought, “Man, it sure would be nice to lower some of my bills, but calling all of my providers and haggling with them is going to take f-o-r-e-v-e-r…”? And then (of course) you never get around to it and just keep paying your ‘not-so-obscene-but-probably-too-high’ prices… Yeah, you’re definitely not alone. For all of you that are just too busy to save money on your monthly bills (which is probably every single person reading this), I highly recommend BillCutterz.

Save Money On Your Monthly Bills With BillCutterz

I spoke with Barry Gross, the owner of BillCutterz, about a year ago and got such a good vibe from him and what his company was doing that I agreed to partner with him immediately. Since then, I’ve actually done an awful job promoting his company, but thankfully they were still successful in saving some of my readers a good chunk of change!

For all the rest of you…I’m sorry for not getting the word out sooner. BillCutterz is simply amazing!! Here’s my recent personal success story…

My Personal Success Story with BillCutterz

After partnering with BillCutterz last year, I figured, “Hey, I want to save money on monthly bills…I don’t have a ton of them, but I may as well see what BillCutterz can really do!” So I gave them the one bill that can possibly be negotiated: my cell phone bill.

Now, I should tell you that this cell phone bill is super cheap by Verizon standards. About 3 or 4 years ago, I got the price knocked down from $75 a month to $60 because I was considered a loyal customer and could get on the super secret, “Loyal Customer Plan”. Verizon no longer extends this offer to “new” loyal customers, so I just stuck with it for a while since it seemed like such a good deal.

Then, about a year ago, I figured it was time for Liz and I to get on the same cell phone plan. After all, we both already had Verizon, so I assumed that we’d be able to partner up and get a better “per-customer” rate.

That would just be too logical though, wouldn’t it…?

My $60 plan and her $70 plan would turn into $140 if we combined them. That obviously made no sense, so I just stuck with my loyal $60 plan.

As you can guess, I had very little hope that BillCutterz could get me a better rate…

Their Efforts Last Year

As it turns out, I was right… (at the time anyway).

I sent BillCutterz my billing information and gave them my pin so they could negotiate on my behalf. They spoke with a representative, got close to a discount, but they couldn’t really find any option that made sense for me. So that’s where they left it.

They told me they’d try again after 12 months.

Okay, cool. They tried. It cost me nothing, so no big deal. We’ll see if they can do anything next time…

Their Efforts This Year

Lo and behold, BillCutterz emailed me a few days ago, asking me if they could negotiate my cell phone bill on my behalf again. My response? “Be my guest. It’s no skin of my back!” (Actually, I think I just politely said, “Sure”, but my thought response was the former! 😉 )

To my absolute shock and amazement, I received this email about two days later:

“Hi Derek,

I have some great news for you today! I was able to save you $5.00 per month for the next 12 months on your Verizon Wireless bill, without a contract on your account. The representative advised me that your pre-tax rate was $60.00 at the time I called. Your new pre-tax rate will be $55.00. When your discount is about to expire, I will be contacting you again to extend the savings. I was also able to move your plan to a 5 gig plan at a lower cost. Your employee discount will still apply to this plan.

In additon, I was able to obtain one month of FREE Service for August 2018. Your next bill will be due on September 11, 2018.

– Nelda”

Whoa! I was NOT expecting THAT!

So by having BillCutterz negotiate on my behalf…

  • I’m saving $5 a month,
  • Getting 3 extra gigs of data each month (which is AWESOME because I’ve been running out lately!), and
  • I got one month free???!!!

Ummm, thank you!!

What I Owe Them

After the first go-around, I owed BillCutterz absolutely nothing. They saved me nothing, so I owed them nothing. That was the deal.

This time, they saved me about $125 for the year, so they’ll charge me $62.50.

  • They put in all the time,
  • Did all the work,
  • And saved me $125.

Yup, I’d say it’s worth it to split the savings with them!

Oh, but one more thing – by paying immediately as a one-lump sum, they’ll give me a 10% discount. So I’ll actually only pay them $56.25 and keep $68.75 of the savings for myself (not to mention all the savings I’ll get years later with this new low rate (FYI – they only charge for one year’s worth of savings).

Doesn’t this just sound completely awesome? I’d say it’s time for you to sign up and get started, wouldn’t you?!!
