Discounted Designer Glasses and Sunglasses

Based on the responses I get from my readers, it is pretty clear that many of you have reformed from your spending ways and are trying desperately to become a saver. You miss the life of your designer handbags and accessories (for the women anyway…Men, you most likely miss your 55″ television), and you long to make another purchase.

Well, lucky for you, this might just be your lucky day. The Vision Specialists, who are featured on, offer designer glasses and sunglasses at a discounted price. Most of the time, it’s 35% off from the retail price! And, since I was able to team up with them, they are offering an addition coupon promotion so that you can save an additional 10%. Once you are on the site, simply find the coupon code entry box, and enter 2011vsc.

While I do not encourage you to splurge on this purchase, if you have already budgeted money for your own personal spending (to be used on whatever you wish) and you needed some sunglasses, then why not purchase them at a major discount! Visit the Vision Specialists.

Money Save Money

My name is Derek, and I have my Bachelors Degree in Finance from Grand Valley State University. After graduation, I was not able to find a job that fully utilized my degree, but I still had a passion for Finance! So, I decided to focus my passion in the stock market. I studied Cash Flows, Balance Sheets, and Income Statements, put some money into the market and saw a good return on my investment. As satisfying as this was, I still felt that something was missing. I have a passion for Finance, but I also have a passion for people. If you have a willingness to learn, I will continue to teach.

  1. Hey thanks Derek! Do you know how long the code is valid?

    • I actually do not know. I made the assumption that it was valid for the year, but this may be wishful thinking.

  2. Anyone who is savvy about glasses and feels comfortable ordering online — we personally have had 2 good experiences with Zenni Optical ~ My husband has progressive lens and I have computer/readers (with astimatism correction), and both came back done correctly! My glasses were just 8.00 a pair and I bought 2 – only had to pay one shipping fee. Hubby had his done separately – but for all his bells and whistles that would have cost upwards of $350.00 locally – he paid just $68.00. You do need to find the right size of glasses and I suggest you totally measure the ones you are wearing now (width, height, etc as well as the length of the sides). If your old glasses have any information on the insides of the ear pieces, that could help as well. You will also need to measure the distance between your eyes in mm. Matching up size to your current glasses will help get you a pair you know will fit your face — as far as the lens – make sure you enter the data from your RX carefully.
I could never have gotten RX glasses locally for less than $11.00 a pair. The frames alone locally are much more than that.
So because I have had 2 good experiences – I would definately use them again.
