This website is becoming more and more fun as the weeks go by. I absolutely love providing articles to my loyal readers, and the interaction on each post is a riot! Thank you very much for reading and participating in this site. I thoroughly enjoy it!
This Past Week
I had a great time totaling up my July earnings this week in preparation of my July Earnings Report. It was really a record-breaking month for me financially. It’s a good thing too, because my wife and I just closed on our very first home purchase!
It’s a foreclosure, so there is quite a bit or work to do: wallpaper to tear off, floors to refinish, walls to paint, and bathrooms to gut and redo. We’ve got our hands full and will have a busy month, but we’re having a good time with it so far! π
Goals Update
I have accomplished many of my old goals, so I figure it’s time for some new ones! Here’s what I’m going to try to accomplish by the end of August.
1) Finish my eBook – this book is really becoming a complete guide to gradating without any debt. I have named this book, “The Debt-Free Degree” and I’m hoping for a bestseller, seriously. I’m devoting as much time to this book as I possibly can, because I’d love to get this book in people’s hands sooner rather than later.
2) Continue to Write 4 Quality Posts Per Week – I have done this consistently since I first started this site, but I want to make sure it continues, so I always make it a monthly goal. Since I will be working on my eBook quite a lot this month, I do plan on mixing in some guest posts. But, you can be assured that these are high-quality posts from a like-minded writer.
That’s it! Mainly, I need to eat, sleep, and dream eBook. Please hold me accountable, because I know that you’d love to read it too! I would appreciate the nagging.

AUTHOR Derek
My name is Derek, and I have my Bachelors Degree in Finance from Grand Valley State University. After graduation, I was not able to find a job that fully utilized my degree, but I still had a passion for Finance! So, I decided to focus my passion in the stock market. I studied Cash Flows, Balance Sheets, and Income Statements, put some money into the market and saw a good return on my investment. As satisfying as this was, I still felt that something was missing. I have a passion for Finance, but I also have a passion for people. If you have a willingness to learn, I will continue to teach.

Thanks for including Are You Spending Your Time Wisely in your roundup – my guest post on Invest It Wisely!
I enjoyed it, and it fit well with my guest post over at Bucksome Boomer! For those that enjoyed boating, I was pretty tough on them, but I think it just needed to be said! π
So how’s the ebook coming? And the nagging begins. I will start every comment with that question until it’s released! lol Just kidding, but I will ask it every now and then. Thanks for including my tutorial on Morningstar! I have another one coming this week about using the portfolio function on there.
Lol! You really should keep asking! I need it! I actually worked on it last night and it’s coming along. I’m going to take great pride in it once it’s done. π
