Well I told you all that I’d let you in on one of my new online money projects soon, and here it is! Corey, from 20’s Finances, and I had challenged each other to make a blogging revenue of $30,000 in 2012. This seemed like a great way to motivate each other to get to the next level, so we figured, why not involve our blogging friends to join the challenge as well! 20ish sign-ups later, and we have a website that’s ready to house this challenge!
What “Online Money Bloggers” is all about
Our main mission of “OnlineMoneyBloggers.com” is to help all the challengers achieve their goal of $30,000 in 2012, but this site is also set up to help all bloggers that are looking to make some cash with their site.
Each person in the challenge is striving to make their 30k, and while they’re in the process, they’ll be writing guest posts about how they plan on achieving it! Perhaps this will be with extra blogs, an eBook, a free learning course to increase readership, or something else that’s never been done before. They will share their plans with all of the readers out there, and then they’ll report back with what worked and what didn’t! It’s a perfect site for the beginner blogger (as well as the up-and-coming blogger) to camp out, learn, and ultimately start earning money with their own sites.
By the way, congrats to the bloggers that are involved in the challenge! You really have a great opportunity to increase the readership of your site, to improve cashflow, and most importantly, the chance to change another blogger’s life with your experience and wisdom!
I Am Officially Part of This Challenge
In case you haven’t figured it out already, I am participating in this 30k challenge which begins on January 1, 2012 and will run through the end of the year. Each month, I will be shooting for an average income of $2,500 to stay on pace with the 30k goal. Feel free to track my progress at http://onlinemoneybloggers.com, and don’t forget to check the homepage for the latest challenger guest post.
My name is Derek, and I have my Bachelors Degree in Finance from Grand Valley State University. After graduation, I was not able to find a job that fully utilized my degree, but I still had a passion for Finance! So, I decided to focus my passion in the stock market. I studied Cash Flows, Balance Sheets, and Income Statements, put some money into the market and saw a good return on my investment. As satisfying as this was, I still felt that something was missing. I have a passion for Finance, but I also have a passion for people. If you have a willingness to learn, I will continue to teach.
