Saving up money is hard.
Getting out of debt is harder yet.
And then stashing money into investments vs. today’s fun is probably an even greater challenge.
So why are you doing this?
If you don’t know, you won’t stick.
There’s just too many other people having fun in the moment for you ignore. You know it’s not the best thing for your future, but spending all your money know will severely limit your future…and you know it…
However, if you have a ‘why’ that’s strong…if you have a great reason to get up every morning and say “I want to be better today than I was yesterday!”…then you’re setting yourself up to win.
To win in life, you have to know what you’re living for.
Why do you want to change your financial future?
- Is it so your kids have a better life than you did?
- Or maybe it’s because you don’t want to eat nothing but Spam in your retirement years…
Whatever the reason, be sure it’s strong enough to change. This financial journey won’t be easy.

What’s your why?
Why do you want to do better financially??
I like spam so I wouldn’t mind eating it during my retirement years! haha!😃 So my “why” is because I want to make sure that I am financially secure for retirement and my old age so that my child doesn’t have to support me or feel sorry for me.
That’s a great reason! I can’t imagine the terrible feeling of running out of money and having to burden your children by living with them.
Retirement is around the corner for me and I want to start getting in the mindset of not spending so freely.
